Crazy Over FIFA

I never realized how intense the FIFA fever is here in Korea until I heard screams and the daehan minguk-cheer at the same time, well almost, from different apartment buildings I passed by on my way to Lotte Mart. If you were there, you'd probably think they were watching the game together. Several restaurants I passed by were filled with people watching and cheering while having their meal.  Same scene in Lotte Mart. People were standing around this TV in a cellphone booth, their eyes glued to the TV, oblivious to what's going on around them.

I told husband about it on our way home and told me he was awaken buy the same noise in our building. I guess Shouting Korea is an apt slogan after all. : )
