repost: homesick

I posted this entry months after I came to Korea. I was so homesick then and found writing to be the only outlet on that day.

ito ba ang tinatawag nilang homesick??

1. yung tuta namin madalas kinakausap ko in tagalog (dapat english kasi yun yung common language namin). kung minsan, kinakausap ko din si Dohee in tagalog.. hahaha..

2. ang lunch ko pag tinatamad ako magluto eh milo on top of steaming rice..

it's not really about the decor. It's how everyone feels during the holiday season. I kinda miss that. I just wish we were at home.

I asked my students what their plans are for christmas. most of them wala. Its not really part of their culture. Its not like we can force them to appreciate christmas like we do. Husband is working on christmas day.

LOL! just had the milo over steamed rice a while ago... there was a time when i was so lazy to even eat that i'd always end up making hot milo drink and add some rice in it or simply sprinkle generous amount of the powder on top of the rice. naku, milo baby eto...

so true.. Christmas is in our hearts but it's still best to celebrate or share the time with people who are (ver)enthusiastic about it too..

i didn't decorate much this year as i know Mama will be here with me.. i'm just happy Alex is also ecstatic about the season. ah, i feel so good when i think about my Christmas this year... kung pwede lang sana magkakasama na lang tayo kung magkakalapit lang tayo...
